Automotive Performance Tuning LLC would like to introduce a new product added to our line of 02A/02J race transmission upgrades.

The APTuning 5th Gear Cuff. This product is designed to replace 5th gear on the end of the transmission with a solid machined piece of billet aluminum which houses 2 oversized roller bearings.  This cuff supports and ties the input and pinion shaft together which drastically helps reduce the shafts spreading apart under extreme load or horsepower.

The cuffs have been in testing for about 2 years on some of the fastest VW drag cars and have pretty much eliminated 3rd and 4th gear related issues due to the shaft spread. We have found this to be the best solution to the spreading issue thus far.

The kit comes with the housing cover, bearings, shaft sleeves, gasket, and hardware. They are available in either a Clear or Black anodized finish.
