We would like to congratulate Joel Brown and his APTuning sponsored Corrado which ran a record setting 8.98et@166 mph Saturday at Maryland International Raceway.

Joels's run makes his car the first front wheel drive VW into the 8's and currently the quickest in North America. He backed up that run with some low-mid 9 second passes on Sunday but had some clutch issues which kept him from going that fast again.

After taking some time off for family and business I'm sure I speak for everyone in the VW and racing community that we are glad to see him back in the seat and being one of, if not the fastest VWs out there!!! We would additionally like to thank Kevin, Mark, and whoever else helped along the way as we all know it can't be a one man show and wouldn't have happened without dedicated friends.
