After much research and fifteen years of experience in selling brake upgrades, Eurospec has come up with an exceptional product both from a technological standpoint and a great value as well. The heart of the kit, “the brake caliper” is made from a proprietary high quality casting which is then precision machined to exacting tolerances. The unique twin bridge bolt design makes for a very ridged caliper, a must for the rigors of high performance driving. This system uses the readily available FSMI # 594 Porsche brake pad. This pad provides a friction area that is much larger than the pads used by many of the kits on the market today (see photo below). The larger pad and associated swipe area of the rotor make for a substantial increase in braking torque resulting in excellent stopping power under the most extreme conditions. This pad rotor combination also results in both a softer modulation and a much slower wear factor for both brake pad and rotor. The brake rotors are directionally veined castings made from the highest quality material and come either slotted, cross drilled or both. The system comes with calipers, brake pads, rotors, adapters, stainless lines and the required hardware to make for a trouble free installation. The calipers in the primary race system are not painted. Instead, the the caliper body, hat and the bracket are hard anodized. This makes for more rigidity in the entire assembly and longer lasting parts. More importantly, it leaves the surfaces exposed to the flow of air for better caliper cooling. Paint tends to insulate the caliper preventing adequate heat dissipation. All systems are available in standard red and black.

These systems are available for the 1999-2009 MK4 and MK5 Golf/Jetta/Rabbit with a 1.8T, 2.0T, 2.5, or VR6. All kits include: rotors, Eurospec 4-piston calipers, adapter brackets, pads, Goodridge stainless steel brake lines, and all mounting hardware. These systems are designed to fit stock wheels without spacers.
